What is Gamification? Hello, Gaming in TURKEY | MENA | EU followers. Our founder Mr. Ozan Aydemir participated Gamification Panel which was prepared by World Gamification Federation, this week. We will talk about Gamification and how the Panel went through it.

As a Game Agency Gaming in TURKEY | MENA | EU and Purple Pan, we have been participating in a great event on Saturday and shared our knowledge and experience with all the listeners. GamFed World Gamification Federation’s 1st Turkey Conference was completed on the 20th of Saturday with seminars and workshops held in Istanbul.

Experts shared their experiencesSaturdayworkshop and panel, which is realized with the participation of all the world’s game experts, game agencies, gamification agencies, and individual participants. A non-profit organization, GamFed, the World Gamification, Federation’s conference has taken place in a very crowded and entertaining environment. As Purple Pan and the Game Agency Gaming in TURKEY | MENA | EU, our founder Ozan Aydemir represented us. A total of 10 speakers from 5 countries took place in Habita. The conference was organized by Turkey representative and Oyunder members Ercan Altuğ Yılmaz and one of the three founders of GamFed in the world and the former Badgeville and Niels van der Linden, who had important duties in the company’s office. It is expected that Conference will be repeated in the coming years.

Certified specialists from GamFed UK, Germany, Netherlands, and Greece, as well as professionals from Gamewheel, Reunion, Brand New Game, and Gaming in TURKEY | MENA | EU Game Agency, shared details about their areas of expertise.

WHAT IS GAMIFICATION?

Ozan Aydemir, answered the questions of the attendees after the panel separately and said: “It was quite a fun and nice panel for all of us. As a person who has been involved in the advertising sector since 99, although the name is not game or gamification at that time, in fact, these types of fiction that we used both in professional life and in every moment of our lives. If you look at it as a part of our life as an instinct to play or play from the moment we were born. Animals are playing with each other in the same way, I think we all are watching with pleasure and laughing at the documentary videos of wildlife. In fact, you should not forget the truth that their games have more meaning than a game. Behind these games they play are hunting, defending themselves, and training their instincts like an attack. In other words, even in nature’s own stream, there is a game. It’s not so different in people. Every game that we play when we were children, has an entertainment side, and also there is a teaching side.

When we grew up, gamification occurs at times when we do not have fun this time. When you look at the traffic on the road, you can look at the platelets and derive the name, while the children are eating, the rice is transformed into a plane, walking on the sidewalk, skipping the lines while you look at it. As a Game Agency and a Gamification Agency, acting in professional life is part of our daily routine. There is gamification in the game with benefits (rankings, in-game items, tournament prizes, and rankings) we give to the players, language, and applications we use in marketing (collecting points with social carrot fiction, badges, wallet system). It is necessary to look at the gameplay as an instrument. Advertising in the market is no longer as convincing. People want to follow natural and long-standing stories and content that we call storytelling or native content. Here’s the gameplay coming in here.
