Together with Mr. Faruk İnce, Project Leader and Ziipin Holdings HK Limited Brand Representative, we worked on different names. However, as a result of our research and our brand’s request, one name came to the forefront; İsmail YK. In this unique campaign of 101 Okey VIP, we aimed to offer an unforgettable experience by coming together with one of Turkey’s most popular names, İsmail YK. So, why İsmail YK?

A Name Everyone Knows
When İsmail YK is mentioned in Turkey, everyone, regardless of age, is sure to smile and be happy. Ismail YK is an artist who appeals to a very wide audience from 7 to 70 and has been in everyone’s hearts for years with his cult songs and energy. We aimed to reach a much wider audience by combining the fun-filled world of 101 Okey VIP with a name that everyone knows and loves.

Beyond Trending: Permanence
Ismail YK is not just the popular name of a certain era, he has managed to become an artist and a phenomenon that everyone loves with his quality work and the quality standards he has always maintained. In the light of all these components, we started to work immediately. First of all, we worked on different scenarios. In line with the directions and directives of our brand, we agreed on a scenario that could also refer to İsmail YK’s old clips and reflect all the content of our game.

At this point, we rearranged the lyrics of the song Bas Gaza according to both 101 Okey VIP and the flow of the script. Mr. İsmail’s contributions here are undeniable. From the beginning of the project, he personally took part in both the script stage and the infrastructure of the song and supported us a lot. In the light of all this, on the set day, both the shooting of our movie and photo shoots with İsmail YK took place all day long on the plateau. The energy of İsmail YK, the Oda Dans team and our dancers, and our entire set crew was perfect. In fact, every time the song “Bas Gaza” was played, almost the whole team could not stand still during the shooting.

After our shootings, there was a long post-production phase. Here again, all revisions and improvements were made in line with the wishes of our brand. Even though the time difference, cultural differences and different opinions are always a difficult process at these stages, all teams and our brand worked hand in hand to finalize this beautiful work. This collaboration is also full of in-game events and different surprises for players.
