TURKCELL 4.5G SANALIKA VIDEO PRODUCTION

 

One of the greatest dreams of humanity is “TELEPORTATION”. Ask any person, whether young or old, they would want to be able to teleport, as a superpower.

 

As Turkcell, the leading GSM operator with the fastest 4.5G infrastructure in Turkey; we wanted to let the youth live and experience this high speed in a fun and natural way; so we wanted to give them the superpower of their dreams.

 

We cooperated with Sanalika, a well-established and popular gaming platform among the younger population and we introduced: Teleport Anywhere at 4.5G speed with TURKCELL’s exclusive offer.

 

Sanalika, which presents a virtual world of islands and streets on these islands, has 20,0000 registered users, 1.000.000 active users per month and 120.000 unique players per day. When players want to switch between streets in the game, they have to do so by walking from one street to another.

 

With our setup, the players were able to travel very fast between streets using teleportation, thanks to Turkcell 4.5G. They experienced their passion for speed in a most natural way that overlaps with their daily lives. With the help of a “4.5G” button embedded in the game, we introduced Turkcell’s “T70” device to gamers who clicked on the button, and within this device our 4.5G app.

 

Gamers clicking on the app button first saw the Turkcell 4.5G ad, then the list of streets in the game and they selected the streets they wanted to teleport to. We smoothly inserted all campaign messages into the game using different methods.

 

The results obtained at the end of three months were way above our expectations. We reached nearly 50 million impressions, app click rate was 12 times our target, teleport, and video viewership figures were 4 times our target! We, at Turkcell, teleported our targets and let the young experience 4.5G speed, on their popular platform and as they dreamt of.
