Kod Ödülleri Applications Extended To January 31!

Applications for Educational Game Competition Continues!

Türkiye Bilişim Vakfı (TBV), the applications for the KOD Awards Educational Game Competition (KOD Ödülleri Eğitim Oyunu Yarışması), which was held last year for the first time, was rewarded for the educational games in the fields of mathematics and science. The competition is organized to emphasize the importance and contribution of IT in education at primary, secondary, and high school levels, to add strength to the works of individuals and institutions that produce ideas, develop and adapt digital games in the field, and to encourage the growing generation.

Thanks to KOD Awards held by Türkiye Bilişim Vakfı (TBV) and sponsored by Eczacıbaşı Group, education games in mathematics and science fields will be rewarded and will take their places in the education system. Digital games or digital game ideas will contribute to the competition in mathematics and science fields.

About Educational Game Competition, TBV President Faruk Eczacıbaşı said, “in this way, we are going to transform Turkey into an information society, we gave great importance to the educational games development competition, KOD Awards. With the contribution of our supporters, we aim to bring an innovative approach to our education system with KOD Awards. With the education model supported by Digital Games, students will not only memorize rules and formulas but will also actively engage in learning and will strive to improve their competence as they enjoy it. We sincerely believe that these steps will contribute to the education system of our country in the future”.

Awards and Jury
In the competition, where the total award is TRY 90.000, Türkiye İş Bankası will also give a special award.
