SteelSeries-Sponsored Faceit Collegiate Turkey CS: GO by CEL Tournament Registration Started

The tournaments sponsored by SteelSeries, the leading brand in the gaming and esports world, continue to bring players together in 2021. The next tournament will be SteelSeries-Sponsored Faceit Collegiate Turkey CS: GO by CEL Tournament, organized by Corporate Esports League for university teams. University students who want to participate in the tournament can register between 24-28 February.

A total of 160 players, 32 teams, will participate in the SteelSeries-Sponsored Faceit Collegiate Turkey CS: GO by CEL Tournament, which will be held among university students. Each team will be 5 people in this tournament. The matches in the award-winning esports tournament will take place in 3 days, one-day qualifying, one-day semi-final, and one-day final. University students who want to bring their CS: GO gaming experience to the tournament will be able to apply for the tournament with their teams between 24-28 February.

Teams formed by only university students will be able to participate in the SteelSeries-Sponsored Faceit Collegiate Turkey CS: GO by CEL Tournament, and the first 32 teams that submit their information accurately and completely will be deemed to have registered for the tournament. Teams registered for the tournament will be announced on the GIT Esports site and SteelSeries social media accounts on Sunday, February 28th.

The Grand Final of the Tournament is on March 3rd!

University teams that qualify to compete will be up against between 1 – 3 March in the SteelSeries-Sponsored Faceit Collegiate Turkey CS: GO by CEL Tournament. In the matches to be played on the Faceit platform, the teams will gradually play qualifying matches on March 1. The 2 teams that were left behind in the semifinals on March 2, leaving their opponents behind, will gain the right to compete in the final on March 3.

In the qualifying matches to be held on March 1, each team will be evaluated on 1 match, while the 4 teams that rise to the semi-final matches to be held on March 2 will be evaluated on BO3. The final day of the SteelSeries-Sponsored Faceit Collegiate Turkey CS: GO by CEL Tournament will be determined, and the last two teams will compete with each other on BO5 on March 3. The semi-finals on March 2 at 18:00 and the final matches on March 3 at 17:00 will be live streamed on the CEL Twitch channel and SteelSeries Youtube channel.

The 4 teams that qualify for the semi-finals are guaranteed to win awards, while the last 2 teams to compete in the final will compete against each other for the first prize. The awards of the tournament will be Arctis 7 Wireless Headset, Apex 5 Keyboard, Aerox 3 Mouse, and QcK Edge Large Mousepad.
